Aqara Presence Sensor FP2

Wired mmWave Radar Presence Sensor, Zone Positioning, Multi-Person and Fall Detection, Supports HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home and Home Assistant

  • Zone positioning: The Aqara FP2 presence sensor (2.4GHz Wi-Fi required) offers significant benefits as it monitors rooms of up to 40 m² with a single radar sensor. In addition, you can set up to 30 zones individually, such as sofa, bed, etc. and set individual automations for each zone. It's like having multiple PIR sensors at the same time with just one FP2. * Note: The FP2 is a wired sensor that needs to be powered constantly.

  • Multi-person and Fall Detection The FP2 can detect up to 5 people at the same time and trigger different scenarios and automation. In addition, you can mount the FP2 on the ceiling and choose the fall detection mode, which detects when someone falls and alerts you via the app. (Note: FP2 is not a medical device and can only be used for reporting purposes).

  • Multi-ecosystem support: Aqara FP2 presence sensor is available as a multiple sensor for HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home and Home Assistant. (Note: The device can be added directly to the Home Assistant via the HomeKit controller integration). You can easily integrate the sensor without the need for an Aqara hub, which is a great solution for smart home enthusiasts.

  • Ultra-high precision with more data protection: By using millimeter wave radar technology, the FP2 presence sensor provides precise detection of motion without false alarms even with small movements. In addition, no camera surveillance system is required for detection, maximising user privacy. Thanks to the IPX5 rating, the FP2 can also be installed in damp environments such as bathrooms.

  • BUILT-IN LIGHT SENSOR & LOCAL AUTOMATIONS In addition, the FP2 has a built-in light sensor that provides more flexibility and pleasure in creating lighting automations (available in Aqara Home, HomeKit and IFTTT only). In addition, FP2 automations run without transferring to the cloud and work even when there is no Internet connection.
